HelpingHands Campaign

Supporting the Community in Which We Live and Work.

Richmond Tile Centre’s HelpingHands Campaign is more than raising money for local charities serving the community of Richmond during the spring and fall. It’s about spreading the word about a worthwhile cause in the community that needs help.

During the months of May and June, we support our local KidSport™ Chapter because we believe getting kids off the sidelines, and into the game, can teach children life-long skills so they can contribute positively to a strong, healthy community.

Come November and halfway through December, our HelpingHands Campaign is back in our store in support of the Richmond Christmas Fund having seen, firsthand, what joy this fund provides local families without the means to provide Christmas dinner, gifts and books during the holiday season.

When you visit Richmond Tile Centre in the spring and fall, we will be talking about HelpingHands and how your donation goes a long way to help those in need. Our goal is to raise $1,000, for each charity, twice a year.

You can help us raise awareness for the local charities in Richmond by staying connected.

Follow our posts on Facebook and Twitter, and we’ll give you a weekly update on how the HelpingHands campaign hands are rising. Together, we can make a difference in our community.

To date, our HelpingHands Campaign has raised over $2,260 in support of our local charities:

KidSport BC Chapters
KidSport believes there are many long-term benefits for kids playing organized sport. As a national not-for-profit organization, KidSport provides financial assistance to children aged 18 and under to get kids off the sidelines and playing a season of sport.

Organized sport teaches our children life-long skills, and improves self-esteem and self-confidence, so children can contribute positively to a strong, healthy community.
